About Me

Hi, I’m Beor (pronounced Bay-yor), the founder of Latent Influence.
If you’re reading this, its because you want to know more about me, but first I wanted to say how excited I am that you are seriously considering Youtube as a career.
It’s always such an amazing experience being part of the journey and watching my students actually making a living doing something that they are actually passionate about.

Now, I won’t bore you with my entire life story so the TL:DR version is this:

I graduated from Monash University with a Major in Multimedia

I worked for 5 years as a professional photographer and videographer

I was recruited as a Community Manager by a company specializing in online courses teaching students how to go viral and turn their passions into a career (sound familiar?)

For 4 years I learned and refined methods and strategies of virality under a Youtuber, mentor and good friend, Kong Pham, as well as gaining valuable experience and knowledge of what works and what doesn’t working personally with students over the years.

In 2020, I started Latent Influence to continue working more directly with students in developing their growth and content strategies to build a successful Youtube channel.
